Steve has been with Swegon for seven years and looks after the product, fulfilment and running of Swegon Hire UK. Steve has over 15 years’ rental experience and saw an opportunity to grow a hire business within a thriving market having cut his teeth in the rental business at Aggreko. Within a short space of time the hire business has grown and is now an integral part of the Swegon landscape in the UK.
Steve says "We work in a fast paced environment where not only is the pressure to perform is at its peak; it is also an environment where the customer needs assurance of a capable and dependable service…that’s where we come in".
National Sales Manager
Kevin has been in the rental industry for over 13 years, "Temperature Control" Hire for 8 years, and at Swegon Hire since 2013.
Kevin says “I love the urgency that the role brings. The combination of helping customers guard against downtime and helping customers find a solution when plans are not necessarily in place brings with it a certain satisfaction that is hard to match. The fact that emphasis in Swegon Hire is on customer retention appealed to me from the start - you can only retain customers by meeting/ exceeding their expectations. This is what I aim to do on a daily basis”.
Business Development Manager
Andy has been in the rental industry for over 15 years, dealing with all that our industry has to offer from large rental power projects at MV, Heating and Chiller turnkey solutions and was very involved with the Olympic organizing committee when he worked for Aggreko on the events team.
Andy says “I enjoy this industry as you never know what each new day will bring, meeting new and old clients and getting a genuine warm feeling when you know that you have solved a problem for your client and that they appreciate all your hard work and problem solving skills. You can never anticipate what new and exciting opportunities can come your way with hard work and networking opportunities that are available to us.
Business Development Manager (Midlands/ South West)
Colin joined Swegon in 2012 and is based in South Shropshire and currently covers the Midlands, South West and South Wales regions
Colin has over 25 years’ experience working within an industrial sales environment (inc, steel industry, structural and mechanical engineering, temperature control and temporary buildings). He has wide experience of providing temperature control solutions for the UK food and beverage industry.
Colin says “I enjoy the diversity of the projects and industries we deal with and also the mix of new and old business contacts we forge strong relationships with”.
Business Development Manager (South East/ London)
Steve joined Swegon in May 2016 and has over 20 years experience in the Hire industry and in the last 6 years HVAC area.
During this time Steve has gained a vast amount of experience from working on film and Tv productions to help drying out construction projects. He has worked on providing cooling for the mobile broadcast centres for the London Olympics in 2012, which was very challenging and exciting.
Steve has a very positive and happy approach to life and likes providing solutions to the HVAC problems that his customers present him with to solve. When not at work Steve likes to relax playing golf or researching the history of his local area.
Business Development Manager (North West)
Ken joined Swegon in 2004, when it was known as Coolmation. He is the Business Development Manager for the North of England and Scotland.
He has worked in the HVAC and Building Services industry for over 40 years’ and has been involved in all aspects of this industry covering design, estimating, project and contract management and sales.
Specifically, he has focussed on the Hire business in sales for nearly 20 years, as well as depot management.
Ken says "I have always enjoyed this industry where every day means new challenges and new people to meet and new problems to solve relating to temperature control".
