GOLD crowned champion
Swegon's GOLD AHU has won a coveted H&V News Award.
The results of the H&V News Awards were revealed on 19th April at the esteemed Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where over 1,000 of the HVAC industry elite came together for a night of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievement.
Swegon’s GOLD AHU has won in the highly competitive Commercial HVAC Product of the Year category and was praised by the H&V News expert judging panel.
Launched late last year, Swegon’s latest version of its flagship AHU sports a new grey colour finish. Beyond the shiny new surface, the actual casing design has been modified to increase its air-tightness and eliminate cold bridges – all in order to minimise energy losses. Inside the new casing there is a whole new product platform, which enables the unit’s modules to be combined far more freely than in previous product generations.
The product quality, level of performance and streamlining that have hallmarked GOLD over the last two decades has not been compromised. The new platform makes it easier to find the right unit for each individual project, without any customisation required. This means big savings in time and project design effort and results in effective and easily installed solutions.
With 25 targeted categories, the H&V News Awards cover every aspect of the HVAC and building services industry, from Air Movement Product of the Year to Renewable Project of the Year.
Now 24 years old, the awards are widely considered the most authoritative awards in the HVAC industry. The awards provide industry recognition and unrivalled networking opportunities.
Andrew Gaved, editor-in-chief of H&V News said: “It has been a tough year for the sector, what with the tragedy of Grenfell Tower and the fall of Carillion, our winners demonstrate once again the passion, the pride and the performance that this industry offers. Above all, it is an industry that never rests on its laurels and so I am proud to congratulate all our winners.”
